You MUST read the rules before making ANY post!

Basic Rules:

• You must be 15 or over to join.
  
  
• No Godmoding. That means don't make another character or a weapon pop out of no where.
  
  
• No Powerplaying. Every character can be defeated, and no character can dodge every attempt. This also means you can't assume your attack hits another character. The person who controls that character makes the decision. So nothing like "He aimed a kick at his leg and broke his knee." This is fine with NPCs, but not with other people's characters.
  
  
• No Mary Sues or Gary Stues. No one can have the perfect character with perfect abilities, and what not. As said before, everyone can be defeated, so don't go around saying they're indestructible.
  
  
• No killing off someone else's character without their permission.
  
  
• No flaming anyone. This means don't bash each other out of character. You can have peaceful debates, but don't sink the boat.
  
  
• When you choose your character's play by, PLEASE try to use an actual person/celebrity. I really hate to take away the option, but NO anime characters. This site is meant to be as realistic as possible.
  
  
• When joining, please set your display name so it's your character's name. It doesn't matter if it shows their first and last name, or their full name. Staff members will be displayed in ALL CAPS so they're easier to find.
  
  
• Don't advertise anywhere except in the ads board. This includes the cbox.
  
  
• No spamming. We all hate it, so please don't contribute.
  
  
• ABSOLUTELY NO COPYING!!! People work hard to make their bios and posts, and copying will result in an instant BAN. This includes images such as sigs.
  
  
• Only ONE character per account. I know it's a pain, but multiple characters on one account gets sloppy.
  
  
  
• Warnings will be given out if any rules are broken. The level of the warning depends on what rule is broken, and the severity of the violation.
  
  
  
• Please respect fellow members.
  

Posting Rules:

• There is a 300 word limit for RP threads. At the bottom of the reply box is a word counter.
  
  
• If you're posting in character and need to say something out of character, please place "OOC:" in front of it.
  
  
• No double posting.
  
  
• I don't mind swearing, but don't make every other word a curse word.
  
  
• There WILL be violence and what not on this board, and I really don't have a limit for it. If someone's posting bothers you though, just ask for them to tone it down.
  
  
• There is no limit to sex on this board, just don't go overboard.
  
  
• Please use third person.
  - Correct: Jon walked down the street.
  - Incorrect: I walked down the street.
  
  I can make a few exceptions to this, and if you really want to post in first person, just PM me and ask. I promise, I don't bite...much.
  

Signatures:

• The largest size sig you can have on here in 500 x 250. Nothing bigger.
  
  
• If you want a signature made for you, please post a request in the graphics board. Someone will come along and help you, but keep in mind that a lot of people are busy.
  

Other:

• In the spot of the application where it asks if you read the rules, put "Hitcher".
  
  
• The most important rule is to HAVE FUN! RPs are meant to be fun, and they let you express yourself.
